Dear Gothic Community,

If you’re reading this, chances are you’ve experienced some form of discrimination or marginalization because of your interest in the gothic subculture. You may have been made to feel like you don’t fit in, like you’re weird or different, or like you’re not good enough.

I want you to know that you are not alone. There are many others out there who have gone through similar experiences, and who have found strength and resilience in their goth identity.

It’s important to remember that the gothic subculture is about so much more than just the way we look or the music we listen to. It’s about self-expression, creativity, and individuality. It’s about embracing who we are and being true to ourselves, even when the world tries to tell us that we don’t belong.

So don’t let the negativity of others bring you down. Embrace your goth identity and all that it represents. Wear your black clothing and makeup with pride, and don’t be afraid to be yourself.

And if you ever need someone to talk to, know that there are others out there who understand and who are here to support you. You are not alone.
